13/04/2008 - BCT Wombourne Sprint Triathlon

Avoiding the rain and even seeing a bit of watery Sun made it a slightly better race than suggested by the weather forecast.  The cold wind made transitions slightly more tricky than usual due to numb hands and the very muddy and wet run on a former railway line was more challenging than the twin event in September.

13/04/2008 - Milton Keynes Duathlon

Mark Townsend competed in the Duathlon National Championship in Milton Keynes which is the main Qualifier for the 2008 Duathlon World Championships in Italy in September.  He completed a creditable 12th in Age Group.
