Age Groups

Juniors race within a number of age groupings specfied by the British Triathlon Federation.

These age groups are based upon a the ages of a competitor on the 31st December of the year in question.   This is the same for all Triathletes from 8 to 85+ and is designed to ensure competitive races for athletes of similar ability.

The age groups are as follows:
