11/09/07 - Charnwood Adults & Childrens Day Light Savings AquathlonWe are delighted to announce the date of our second event to be held at Burleigh College, Loughborough on Sunday 28th October 2007 with the first wave of competitors starting at 9am.The Aquathlon is a swim followed by a run of different distances dependant upon age. The adults race is a 400m swim and a 5km run. Details of distances for children's races are shown below:
This event, following on from our successful inaugaural event in April, will also include Children's races for all age groups from age 8 upwards. The age category is based on the competitors age on 31st december 2007. Entry fees are as follows: Tri Star: £6 (BTF Member) £8 (Non BTF Member) Youths: £8 (BTF Member) £10 (Non BTF Member) Adults: £10 (BTF Member) £12 (Non BTF Member) Downloads: [ Entry Form | Race Pack | Start List ] Closing date for entry is the 22nd October 2007, however limited places may be available on the day if the limit is not reached. All late entries are subject to an additional £2 administration charge. We are looking for volunteers to help with organisation and marshalling.
