19/01/07 - Beer & Skittles Night

As you may already be aware our first social of 2008 is taking place on Saturday 8th March and it should be a great family evening. I have provisionally booked the Skittles Alley at The Beacon Inn on Beacon Road in Loughborough.

The skittles alley is based at the back of the pub and we will have exclusive use of it for the evening. The plan is to arrive there around 6pm ish with food being served around 7-7.30pm. If we get 12 or more people there who are all eating we don't even have to pay a hire fee!! They will provide food at a cost of either £5.50 per head for a cold buffet (sausage rolls, sandwiches, pork pie, spring rolls etc) or £6 per head (faggots and potatoes, roast chicken and potatoes, cottage pie and potatoes etc). They do not serve both menus together so as a group we have to decide whether we want the cold or hot food so if you do want to come could you let me know which of these you would prefer when you confirm your availability. We'll have to do with the majority. If we go for the hot option I will email the choices round closer to the time as we will need to preorder.

I think it should be a great night for all, if you're interested please feel free to invite family and friends as it's something that everyone can have a go at and enjoy.

I need to confirm our booking and pay a non-refundable deposit in a weeks time so I would appreciate it if you could let me know if you wish to come along by Saturday 26th January. If you need any further info please feel free to email me and I'll try and get back to you as I will have my laptop with me. Failing this Adam should be able to help.
